Haven’t been here since it reopened . Was out St Ishmael’s area and decided to see if we could book Sunday lunch. Managed to book a table for 2.30 and we weren’t disappointed . We had beef and lamb . It came with mashed potato , roasted parsnip , carrot and sweet potato, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes with a selection of separate vegetables and extra gravy All beautifully cooked and excellent value . The staff are great . Friendly , helpful and great at what they do Will definitely be back. Thank you all .
Great pub for a nice meal Portions were plentiful, tasty and hot Service was friendly and timely without being overbearing We were able to park outside as it was a quiet March evening but can imagine parking being a pain in the summer when it’s busy but it’s worth the effort
We were on holiday on the Pembrokeshire coast and went to the Brook Inn for Sunday lunch. I have to say that it was the best Sunday lunch we have had for years, perhaps ever. It was well cooked, lovely and hot, with masses of meat and plenty of veg. Super value for money and served with a smile. The Brook Inn is an unpretentious local pub with a good atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer and great food. Their lemon meringue pie is to die for. Thoroughly recommended
Absolutely spiteful. Went to watch the Rugby had been there previously and froze decided to give it another chance, spent the afternoon there, the owners fed everyone else during half time and purposely left anyone who wasn’t a regular out. Horrible.
Perfect for Sunday dinner. What a find! Homely traditional pub with log fire several dining areas. On a cold winters day it was well worth a visit. 3 course Sunday lunch available. We selected main course: choice of meats or a selection of 3 which I thoroughly enjoyed- tender, minimal fat, succulent. Most of all plenty of vegetables- roasties, carrots, parsnips, sweet potato Yorkshire pud regardless, stuffing, sauce accompaniments and extra veg: cauli broccoli cheese, red cabbage, carrot & suede and peas. Needless to say, we couldn’t even eat a desert, although they did look very appetising. If we were staying in the area longer, we would eat there again.
Visited 4 times whilst on holiday with 2 of these on a Sunday for a traditional Roast. The lunches were fabulous with plenty of meat, pots, huge Yorkshire puds and seasonal veg absolutely no complaints. One meal we ate outside as the sun was shining of which we both had Hunters Chicken which was again yummy. The fourth visit was on BH Monday and I chose the Curry which I found to be way too salty so I didn't eat much but everything else was really good. The waitress on BH Monday was particularly friendly just what I expect in hospitality and she makes you want to return.
Lovely pub for an evening meal, all the staff were super friendly & helpful, chef was a great character, highly recommended 😀
Visited on a Saturday evening with our 3 children. The hospitality was extremely welcoming and it was obvious that this was a family run pub / restaurant, taking pride in the service they provide to customers. The food was outstanding and we weren’t waiting long (which is important with the kids). The menu catered really well for 2 slightly fussy little vegetarians whilst having a delicious specials board for adults. And to top it all the value was exceptional. It would be a shame not to visit if you’re in the area this is a real little gem to uncover.
Amazing value for money. Large portions, excellent food, great service. A brilliant find! Lovely beer garden. We would definitely recommend visiting for drinks and food.
