Awful, save your money and go to dare I say it - McDonald’s. We were not so much recommended this place but we’re told it was good. Even an internet search this place came up as first on the list , not a sponsored list either .Far from the truth, a faceless fast food outlet serving fast food on plates at a table. The staff have no customer service ability whatsoever , the food was sub standard and the place was just boring in its interior appeal and feel.We had ordered at what looked like a McDonald’s counter alongside the bar ,our food we ordered consisted of 2 chicken snitchels with salad and coleslaw on one and chips and veg on the other . After a 30 minute wait a waitress came to us with someone else’s order even though when ordering you give them your table number . After another 15 minutes our food arrived , the waitress put the plates down and walked off without asking did we want anything else and was the order correct, the snitchels on one plate were slightly overdone and the salad was wilted , the slaw was sloppy and both were covered in a mustard dressing which was not on the menu, the other plate the snitchels were cremated and the veg more than al dente, we ate what we could and left the rest, the older waiter , either of Asian or North African descent came to take the plates away and just swept them away without a by or leave , didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our food or even ask if we had finished . This is an honest review of what I would call an awful eatery so give it a wide berth !

We have eaten at Zack’s several times and have always loved our meals. Sunday we attended with my mother and father in law. We ordered on the app separate to them. Their meals turned up and nothing for us. The waitress didn’t check if we were expecting other meals. After some time we went to the counter to ask for our meals only to find the app order didn’t work. So we re-ordered and were so disappointed when the meals arrived. Both my husband and I ordered the ribs, and both meals were stone cold with BBQ sauce on top - like out of the fridge cold, which I’d think would be a food safety issue. For $40-ish per plate I would have expected far greater care in ensuring our meals were reheated properly. After many visits, this is likely our last.

Birthday get together for 16 friends over Lunch. My meal was what could only be described as cold, tasteless, poorly presented and in fact, inedible. I noted that the majority of meals consumed by the remaining party were mostly not finished with comments that the chips were old and tasteless, the salads not fresh etc. No one person had a good word about their meals. Sorry to say, as a local who really likes to support local businesses, I’ll never be back.

Ordered a rare steak it arrived 35 minutes after the first order arrived and it was WELL DONE! Pictures attached for context. The kids meals came out 10+ minutes apart (kids get very upset and restless). Adult meal came out first with a 10 minute gap between.

When you pay $44.90 for a meal, you’d expected the mash potato to be fresh. It was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like it had been reheated over and over for several nights. I’ve had food like that before and that’s just what it tasted like. The other veggies were cold. The steak was good though. Took my family here for my daughter’s birthday but was so disappointed. Had wanted to stay for dessert but changed our mind after the meal and went to an ice cream parlour instead.

After three days of travel by car from Darwin it was a relief to get a great feed and friendly service! Highly recommended for a really good pub feed! I had the chicken Bacon and the partner had a steak! Staff were really lovely and atmosphere was cosy

We booked a table for lunch...on a Sunday...recommend you book. Restaurant was busy when we arrived and got a lot busier though the afternoon. Our name was attached to the table number as a reserved table which made it easy to find. Staff indicated they had bookings for 25 or so and 80 or so turned up...definitely recommend you book!! We ordered some drinks...they make a nice lemon lime and bitters and then ordered our meals around 20 minutes after our 1230hrs arrival time. Crispy skin salmon...excellent and the vegetables were to die for. Rump Steak ...bargain priced at $20....beautiful...perfectly cooked, with a really tasty salad and wonderful chips. Finally a classic fish meal comprising beer-battered Barra with chips and salad...the fish was a show stopper and was a very large satisfying meal !! The staff did a brilliant job considering the number of unexpected guests! On the down side the plates could have been a little warmer on a very cold Toowoomba Day and the meals did take a while to arrive...explained above.

Lunchtime steak was a wash. Poor quality meat. I didn’t realise salad would be dressed with feta. Staff were friendly though.
