Tua O Mauuga has to be the best place we have ever stayed at in Samoa. Prior to staying here we were around near the airport in a 5 star westernised motel that could not offer us the local flavour we were after until we came here. Please do not be discouraged by the other reviews. The villagers here are so wonderful and we were allowed to use the local village pool when the motel pool was not ready. We are planning to return here again to holiday. The earth clay rooms were so lovely and cool in the hot humid air and the air conditioning was a top off. The bar was opened for us as was the restaurant too. This place is beautiful!! Definitely on our books for returning. I call it my second home away from home here in New Zealand. Thank you Tua O Mauuga for your hospitality, you accommodated my large family at the drop of a hat with no questions asked, forever grateful!
