Recensione 2/2 del nostro recente, ottimo soggiorno a Villa di Sotto. Questa parte, a mio avviso necessaria, si concentra sul ristorante interno alla struttura (ricordo che parliamo di un B&B a conduzione familiare immerso nel Chianti). Per chi volesse avvalersi della proposta, il ristorante offre su prenotazione un menù sincero e genuino, basato sulla tradizione Toscana. I piatti sono ottimi e abbondanti - ho avuto il piacere di provare un po' di tutto, dall'antipasto a base di salumi del territorio, a diverse selezioni di primi fatti in casa, per poi chiudere con cinghiale e "peposo". La proposta è arricchita da una buona selezione di dolci, e una rilevante carta dei vini con un'offerta giustamente centrata sul territorio (con etichette anche impegnative). Raccomanderei il ristorante, in primo luogo agli ospiti della struttura per ovvie ragioni di comodità, in primo luogo per la bontà della carta, e in secondo luogo per il servizio della famiglia, sempre cortese e sorridente.

We have been going back to the Ristorante Enoteca Villa di Sotto for 3 years in a row now. It has been a highlight every time to dine at this special place. I always start my reviews with mentioning the staff and the hospitality of a place. The family, who owns this restaurant as well as the staff has a special understanding of what hospitality means. They are warm, tending, welcoming people with so much to offer to the guests. They take very special care of getting your orders and wishes right and make sure you understand what exactly is that you are ordering. They entertain the guests with stories of the restaurant, the venue, how the dishes were created and of course their old dog, who is just the sweetest thing ever… (They also know, when to give you privacy) The restaurant and the menu is created in the way that gluten and lactose intolerant people can enjoy it as much as someone without any dietary restrictions. If they know in advance they even prepare for the person. Both nights we were there I had an amazing bruschetta selection as a starter and first I’ve tried the mixed beef ragu and the next day the wild bore ragu with gluten free rigatoni. It was heavenly. They have mandarin and lemon sorbet as well, therefore you have the option to get a dessert even-if you cannot or would not like to eat dairy. We ended up going back two times in a row. (Again.) I thank you for the amazing Tuscan experience!! We will be back for more! ❤️

Best dinner we've had in Siena. Very authentic and very friendly staff. No frills traditional food at reasonable prices. Plus they make their own honey.

Per Zufall gefunden und wieder gekommen. Super nette Familie, welches das Restaurant führt. Feines Essen - ehrliche Küche mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Llegamos sin reserva y gracias a Carla, camarera super profesional, conseguimos mesa. Todo lo que puedo contar a partir de aquí, todo impresionante, las vistas, los compañeros de Carla, las recomendaciones, en particular la tempura, aunque la pasta no se queda atrás, en definitiva un lugar maravilloso que no debes perderte.

Scelto per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Bella location, abbiamo mangiato benissimo dal gran tagliere ai pici, al peposo......Ottimo rapporto qualiità prezzo. Vasta scelta di Chianti nella carta dei vini. Personale cortese. Ottima accoglienza anche per il mio cagnolino.

Bella scoperta. Siamo stati in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare per un pranzo veloce. Molto cordiali e gentili la proprietaria e la figlia credo , sempre disponibili. La pasta fatta a mano molto buona come tutto del resto. Ci torneremo. Grazie ancora
