I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to public pools. They tend to be gross and crowded. But at Splash MT, not only is it gross ( tons of garbage on the ground and around the pool, spilled slushies baking on the sunlight as barefoot swimmers walk through the sticky puddles before jumping back in the pool), but you might have the pleasure of being screamed at by a 19 year old lifeguard on a power trip. Imagine you're 5 and you make the egregious error of touching the rope climbing feature while another child is using it. You'll promptly have a teenager in a red shirt screaming at the top of their lungs at you. For your safety, Im sure. Never mind that you almost drowned in the unsupervised Lazy River 10 minutes earlier. Fun!!! The pool closes for a half hour between 3 and 3:30 for some unknown reason. I thought it was for cleaning, but given the amount of garbage and spilled food and drink everywhere when we were let in at 3:30, I'm not sure what they did for that half hour. Perhaps it was for the lifeguards to fine tune their horrible communication skills.

Very nice little water park. Our 10 year old niece loved it. She lives closer to Silverwood’s water park..but had a great time on the slides. Rented a cabana for shade…it was not worth the money ($75) because it was tucked behind trees away from the water. We had shade we needed but couldn’t watch the child from there. Had to pay admission as well..should be free with cabana rental. Staff is great and crazy friendly. Need better concessions..they ran out of onions. Need someone cleaning all day.. everything was pretty gross by the end of the first session. Could have someone blowing up deflated floaties as well. Lifeguards were not consistent in their efforts while life guarding. Otherwise it is a nice place to go!!
