I've been to an El Papalote and the food was excellent. However, even though I'm sure the food would have been excellent, the way they packed it for takeout resulted in a mess. We ordered this for a business lunch in the office and when we got it, the food was covered in grease. Sure, grease is tasty, but when it's covered in it, not the best experience. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt since I know this place serves good food, but 3 stars because they need to pack the food much better for take out if that is an option.

Dopo 5 anni rieccomi a Monterrey！ Come avrei potuto non tornare a provare El Papalote. Si e`riconfermato come me lo ricordavo. Buona cucina Messicana, servizio veloce, personale cortese. Esattamente come era una volta. Ci torno sicuramente

El servicio es promedio, con tiempos de espera altos, calidad de alimentos regular y es imposible que te extiendan una factura. No vale la pena.

El Papalote was right next to the hotel I stayed at. It was nice that they had an English menu option as well as an online menu. The staff was very friendly even though none of us spoke Spanish. Over the course of the week I was in Monterrey I ate El Papalote at least 5 times weather it was going there or having it brought into where I was working. The salsa's they bring to the table with chips were fantastic, I'm not sure what they all were but everyone loved them. The queso flameado was very good, but kind of difficult to eat. I also tried a few of the different taco's. I had the Santa Fe with Arrachera, the Monterrey with chicken and the Mesquite with Arrachera. All of them were great but I would get the Mesquite again in a heartbeat. I wish there was an El Paplote in the states.

A volar papalotes! Ubicado en el Parque Industrial en Apodaca, a minutos en coche del Aeropuerto, El Papalote sirve cortes y tacos a la parrilla, dentro un un local con un toque vaquero bien ambientado con clásicos de siempre, mediando un servicio muy bueno, rápido y eficiente. Ordené unos tacos Santa Fe, con arrachera, guacamole, chiles verdes asado, cebolla y guacamole, con guarnición de papas y frijoles refritos, que resultaron muy atractivos a la vista y agradables al paladar: abundantes y muy buenos! Es importante hacer notar que afuera el termómetro marcaba 5oC, pero la temperatura de los alimentos llegó en el punto exacto a la mesa.

So far this is the best food I’ve had in Monterrey. Great salsa and chicken fajitas! Fast service alone with good customer service.

La comida no tiene nada de particular, pero el servicio de atención a clientes es malo y la atención de meseros pésimo. He visitado varias sucursales y son en ambos, nada amables y tardados para atender. en mi última viista de la sucursal aeriopuerto, tardaron mas de 10 minutos en tomar la orden, 5 minutos en traer la primeras bebidas. y también mas de 10 minutos en traer la cuenta. Los cubiertos lo trajo el mesero toandolos compleatamente con la mano, sin cubrirlos con al menos una servilleta y los aventó a la mesa de manera grosera, mal, mal. Por último, si requeires facturación, es todo un viacrucis, nada modernos y lentos.
